Oct 5.

The environmental activists from different countries marched to the United Nations building. The protesters urged governments around the world to take immediate action and indicated that they’ll continue protesting if the officials couldn’t produce real results soon.

[Ben Margolis, Global Campaign for Climate Action]:
“We’re not ready to see more words, more talks. We need to see real negotiation texts now. We need to see real things on the table and if we see that we’ll stand together with that. We’ll stand here to support that. If we don’t see that we will continue to protest, we will continue to be outside the meetings and inside the meetings because this is such a crucial issue for people all over the planet today.”

It is expected that at least 50 police should be made out of United Nations building.

The Bangkok talks are the last major negotiating round before a gathering in Copenhagen in December to expand and replace the Kyoto Protocol.
